• When can my puppy start training?

Your pup needs to have the first 2 distemper/parvo vaccinations and also a Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination prior to starting any training.

• Is my puppy showing signs of aggression he/she is biting and growling at me?

Puppies often bite and growl when playing with other pups or humans. This behavior is normal and the pup needs to be taught it is not an acceptable behavior.

• I am having trouble house breaking my puppy.  Is there a time when it is too late and he/she will never be house broken?

It is never too late to house break a dog of any age. The time frame may vary between age and breed of dog. There must be consistency to the training no matter what age.

• Is my dog too old to start training?

No

• How do I get my dog started in training with Joe?

Please give us a call and get scheduled for a Free Evaluation at our location, (4232 North Peoria Road, Springfield, IL  62702).  We can then meet you and your dog.  This helps Joe decide what training options are going to work best for you, your dog, and your unique situation.  The evaluation is Free, and our classes are ongoing.  So you could potentially start right away!

Yes!  We offer private lessons here at Dog Class at

         4232 North Peoria Road.

Yes!  We offer private lessons at your home.

Yes!  We offer private lessons at locations such as parks

         and some local store locations.
